8 February 2019, Bucharest – On 20-22 March, Bucharest will host for the first time the European Robotics Forum, the most prestigious event in this field in Europe. The tenth edition of the European Robotics Forum will be held Under the High Patronage of the President of Romania and Under the Patronage of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and will welcome, at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, over 900 experts in robotics.
The event will gather over 50 workshops on different themes on robotics and artificial intelligence such as:
- Innovative robots for the automotive industry
- Robots in agriculture
- Robotics and Big Data
- Ethics in the field of robotics
- Cybersecurity etc.
“By hosting the European Robotics Forum, organized for the first time in an East-European country, Romania sends a clear message regarding its interest and capacity to be an important player in new technologies and robotics. The Forum is a great opportunity for the entrepreneurial community in Romania to manifest its will to be part of a European Union that supports new technologies and is prepared to use these to the benefit of its citizens”, says Ana Maria Stancu, representative of the local organizer, E-Civis.
The European Robotics Forum 2019 is organised by euRobotics under SPARC, the Public-Private partnership for Robotics in Europe and hosted by E-Civis Association.
After its start in San Sebastian in 2010, The European Robotics Forum has grown into a major annual event with hundreds of attendees every year.
