A Bristol-based robotics company has met its planned crowdfunding target as it looks to pilot its first product.
Service Robotics is planning to pilot its GenieConnect product with 150 users in the first half of 2019, with a view of launching the product commercially in late-2019.
The company hopes the product, a robotic companion for the over-65s, will gain 40,000 subscribers within three years, representing 1.1 per cent of the number of over 65s who live alone in the UK.
